I’m sorry but that is ridiculous. Who cares about Bush - it was the team around him. Cheney was in office, Rumsfeld was in office. Look at the back-room advisers who wielded real power.
They did not give even the most remote concept of a about the average American, and even less about anyone else. They worked to benefit the companies they worked for and had stock in.
Obama has changed direction in a lot of ways from Bush - simply not enough. The worst you can say of Obama is that he has continued Bush policy.

I’m sorry but you’re ridiculous. Obama has not only continued Bush’s most egregious policies but has even ramped them up. From deportations to medicinal marijuana dispensary raids to drone strikes to indefinite detentions to targeted assassinations. In every instance Obama has been more militaristic in his approach than the previous administration. And does it really matter whether or not he has good intentions? Obama is murdering and imprisoning people at an alarming rate while simultaneous trampling over the Constitution and eviscerating basic civil rights dating back to the signing of the Magna Carta.
Obama is a fucking war criminal and you can’t blame it on Bush or Rumsfeld or Cheney.
